The song and master catalog of legendary Norfolk Sound creator Frank Guida are re-born, digitally mastered, and available for licensing opportunities. In addition to the Number 1 Pop and Black Chart hits by artists such as Gary U.S. Bonds, and Jimmy Soul. The Rockmasters’ catalog includes charting recording artists the Church Street Five, featuring Gene Barge on sax; Tommy Facenda with the kids’ favorite “High School USA”(1959), and Bill Deal and the Rhondels.

The man and sound behind the hits, Frank Guida, opened a record store in Norfolk, Virginia in 1953. Mr. Guida’s passion for music inspired a recording studio in the back of the record shop in 1958 and the release of the first singles on the LeGrand Label. Other hits from the LeGrand and SPQR labels include “Twist Twist Senora,” “Seven Day Weekend,” “Not Me,” and “Dear Lady Twist.” “If You Wanna Be Happy” is featured in the movie Mermaids and the soundtrack for My Best Friends Wedding. “Quarter to Three,” “Where Did That Naughty Little Girl Go,” and “Dear Lady Twist” were all featured in the 1985 movie Mask.
