Copyright law falls under the umbrella of intellectual property law. A copyright arises when an original work is fixed in a tangible means of expression. Literary works, paintings, songs, films, software code, websites and photographs are all examples of works protected by copyright law.

FAQ on Copyright Law |
"For close to seven years, CoachWorks International Inc. has worked with Tamera Bennett to manage our core brand and trademark/copyright portfolio. During that time we've sold IP, developed new IP, expanded into international markets and formed numerous contractual arrangements. Throughout Tamera has been not only very responsive and thorough in her advice -- regardless of our sometimes short turnaround requests -- but also has provided solid strategy for growing and protecting all brand elements.
Besides being a gifted lawyer, she's a great person who makes legal stuff almost fun because of her personality. She's also very effective and tough when she needs to be, shepherding us to find the right answers that are unique to our business. Her values match ours and that shows in the solutions she provides."
