She has built her practice and is truly a local powerhouse... including being on the Board of Governors (and an officer in) the Texas chapter of the Grammy Association. She is past chair of the State Bar of Texas Sports and Entertainment Law Association. She is co-host of the Entertainment Law Podcast, is an active blogger on legal issues, and has written for both Billboard and Texas Lawyer.  

She knows what it is to build a practice from the ground up (and right after law school!).
